Senior Lead Structural Inspection QC Engineer Location: On Site. Base pay range: $45.00/hr - $80.00/hr. Develop and maintain knowledge of the Transportation Authority Structures Inspection Manual and procedures to ensure compliance with established guidelines. Conduct quality control reviews of inspection reports, witness and assess field inspections, and perform post-inspection QC in accordance with defined responsibilities. Serve as a technical resource by guiding inspection best practices to Transportation Authority inspectors. Develop and support QC inspection process improvements. Generate reports based on inspection findings to support prioritization of maintenance and renewal recommendations by the Program Director, maintenance and engineering teams, and TAMO. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or designee to support accurate, reliable inspections and documentation. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on Structures. Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) with at least five (5) years of hands-on experience in structural inspection and testing on major transit system structures. Ability to perform QC of structural inspections related to bridges, tunnels, culverts, stations, fences, retaining walls and shafts, S&I pits, bus garages, and parking garages. Experience in structural inspection testing and ability to identify appropriate nondestructive (NDT) and destructive testing methods; familiarity with inspection tools such as the DMeter and other NDT tools (e.g., dye penetrant). Strong communication skills to coordinate with on-site inspection crews and provide detailed QC reporting. Experience with prioritizing structural asset management strategies, including maintenance and renewals. Certifications: PE must possess FHWA-NHI-130055/130056 Safety Inspections of In-Service Bridges (or equivalent), FHWA-NHI-130078 Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges; EIT must possess FHWA-NHI-130055 Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges. Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Tunnel Safety Inspection FHWA-NHI-130110; NTIS, TOMIE Manual, SNTI, NCTI. Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges (FHWA-NHI-130078). Completion of a 10-hour OSHA safety course. Benefits
