We are seeking an experienced
Windows/Linux Systems Engineer
to manage, maintain, and support our enterprise server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Windows and Linux operating systems, automation, and system security. This role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across hybrid environments. NOTE: This is Jr to Mid Level and max required experience is 4years. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain
Windows Server
and
Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
environments. Manage
Active Directory ,
DNS ,
DHCP ,
Group Policy , and
file/print services . Implement and manage
user authentication ,
permissions , and
access controls . Perform
system upgrades ,
patch management , and
vulnerability remediation . Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, performance bottlenecks, and service outages. Automate routine tasks using
PowerShell ,
Bash , or
Python
scripts. Collaborate with network, security, and DevOps teams to maintain a secure and resilient infrastructure. Configure and maintain
virtualization platforms
(VMware, Hyper-V, KVM). Monitor system performance and availability using tools like
Nagios ,
Zabbix , or
SolarWinds . Support backup and disaster recovery solutions. Document system configurations, procedures, and policies. Qualifications: Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology 3-5 years of hands-on experience with
Windows Server
(2016/2019/2022) and
Linux
distributions. Strong knowledge of
Active Directory ,
LDAP ,
Group Policy , and
RBAC . Proficiency in
scripting and automation
(PowerShell, Bash, Ansible). Experience with
OnPrem Understanding of
networking fundamentals
(TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls). Familiarity with
security hardening
and
compliance standards . Experience with
monitoring
and
logging
tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Grafana). Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Seniority level:
