The Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Surgery at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor to join our growing department and participate in furthering the academic, research, and clinical missions in line with the college. The ideal candidate will have a desire to serve at the forefront of dermatology by managing complex patients, participating in research, teaching, and embracing a growth mindset for innovation. Responsibilities

CLINICAL: Attend and manage patients as assigned within USF or partner institution. ADMINISTRATIVE: Attend all department meetings as required, complete all compliance forms for the university and practice plan. TEACHING: Oversee clinical supervision of assigned residents within dermatology clinics. RESEARCH: Initiate and recruit patients to trials, and maintain compliance with USF Health Office of Research and sponsors. Participate in teaching, research, service, and administrative activities. Provide academic advising and related activities. Represent the university, college/school, or department as appropriate. Qualifications

Minimum:

Doctoral/Medical degree from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Candidates for Associate or Full Professor should have a record of creative work, publications in refereed journals, and recognition as an authority in the field. Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent. Candidates must obtain and maintain a full un-restricted FL Medical License, credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan, and be in good standing at assigned hospitals. Board certification or eligibility in Dermatology is required. About Us
