Reporting directly to the National L&D Director, this role focuses on building an interactive, best-in-class Advisory curriculum supporting the growth of our people, client service excellence, and profitable growth. Immediate needs include designing technical learning pathways and extended learning toolkits for U.S. and global employees, and enhancing existing programs and curricula for continuous learning in U.S. and global offices. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Advisory learning pathways with focus on technical learning, including needs analysis, design with SMEs, budgeting, scheduling, logistics, evaluation, and aligning with business objectives. Design engaging, outcomes-based learning experiences across modalities (in-person, virtual, self-paced) for consulting professionals. Map consulting competency frameworks to formal and informal learning interventions and perform gap analyses by role or level. Assess complex learning needs, synthesize input from stakeholders, and develop creative, business-aligned learning solutions with clear objectives and outcomes. Align L&D with client service realities, billability, project cycles, and industry specialization. Consult with Practice Leaders, People and Culture, and other stakeholders to identify learning needs and development solutions. Partner with Practice Leaders and SMEs to build a Firm-wide Advisory curriculum using a blend of knowledge-based and skills-based learning; co-create and champion initiatives. Use learning metrics and business KPIs to evaluate impact and refine strategy; monitor outcomes and adjust as needed. Lead sessions, train facilitators, and provide development-focused coaching to rising professionals in a high-performance culture. Conduct ongoing internal and external benchmarking to adopt best practices. Advise on CPE policy application for Advisory programs. Manage project communications for Advisory programs and collaborate with operations on conference/event management to elevate learning experiences. Proactively manage vendor relationships to optimize expenditure and ROI. Manage special projects/initiatives to enhance L&D operations; assist with firm projects as assigned. Your Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, instructional design, or related field. 5-7 years of progressive learning and development experience. Deep understanding of how competencies drive performance, talent decisions, and development; ability to design learning mapped to specific skill expectations. Proven expertise in instructional design, including needs assessment, program design/development, and evaluation; knowledge of learning strategy challenges. Intermediate to advanced project management skills; ability to manage multiple L&D projects. Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust and credibility; strong stakeholder relationships including with director and partner levels. Willingness and ability to travel to multiple office or conference locations in the U.S. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and LMS. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in HR, Organization Design, or Instructional Systems Development. ATD, HRCI, or SHRM designation. L&D or HR experience in a professional services industry; familiarity with the Advisory practice within a public accounting firm.
