Job Description Under the direction of the Manager, this position provides quality service and support to internal and external customers by processing transactions, answering questions, responding to inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner while adhering to Vault Services & Operations (VSO) standard safety requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide quality service in a professional manner, processing deposits, verifying, balancing, and releasing orders to armored couriers. Prepare outgoing cash orders and handle communications via telephone, email, fax, or mail, including customer deposit discrepancies, inquiries, disputes, and requests.
Balance cash trucks, adhere to cash handling guidelines, and assist with validation processes. Ensure daily bag and reconciliation are balanced and completed accurately within established timeframes.
Support team efforts to meet goals and deadlines, maintaining current knowledge of departmental functions.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or G.E.D.
At least 2 years of banking, cash handling, or related experience, depending on prior roles.
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications; ability to operate required equipment after training.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and math skills for balancing cash. Ability to work independently and with a team, lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work flexible hours including weekends and shifts.
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations is required, including Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, and USA PATRIOT Act.
