The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) offers a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA). The NCCU Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic provides evaluations and treatment services across the lifespan. Primary Purpose of Position

Provide clinical experiences that enable graduate students to meet ASHA certification and NC licensure standards in Speech-Language Pathology, coordinate community-based practicum placements, and supervise graduate students in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Maintain alignment with CAA accreditation. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience in clinical supervision and clinic management; collaborative work with students and stakeholders in an interprofessional framework. Knowledge of CAA accreditation and ASHA certification standards. Senior candidates may be considered for Clinical Assistant Director to coordinate external practicum placements. Minimum Education/Experience

Earned Master’s or PhD in a related field. Licenses or Certification

Master’s degree or clinical doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP, and NC state licensure (or eligibility). At least three years of clinical experience as a certified SLP. Experience supervising graduate students in clinical placements preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer
