Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing organization in the healthcare and medical device sector, dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through innovation. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team and support accurate, timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant
As a Senior Accountant, you will: Prepare and review accruals, allocations, and prepaid expense schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Post weekly payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts. Maintain and update amortization schedules for capital and financing leases. Perform reconciliations and journal entries to support the month-end close. Prepare financial reports and analyses for management review and approval. Provide schedules and documentation for internal and external audits. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting and data integrity. What You’ll Bring as a Senior Accountant
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience (healthcare, medical device, or manufacturing preferred). Solid understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end close. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas). Strong organizational and communication skills.
