Overview
Staff Accountant role at MHP – A Porsche Company. This is a hybrid role onsite in Atlanta, GA, 2-3 days per week. You will assist in the accounting and finance processes and work closely with the Head of Finance and operations personnel. Responsibilities
Day-to-day general ledger accounting, including journal entry preparation and related reporting in Prepaids, Accruals, Payroll, Benefits, and Intercompany / Related Party processes Accounts payable subsidiary ledger; assist with vendor payment setup, posting invoices, reconciling corporate credit card statements, and vendor setup Accounts receivable billing and collections Fixed asset accounting and reporting Bank entries and bank account reconciliations Assist in monthly accounting close procedures, including proper period end cut-off and close schedule Monthly, quarterly and annual closing, consolidation, and reporting; seek ways to improve efficiency Coordinate with Finance & Administration Germany Prepare special evaluations and reports Participate in monthly and year-end closing processes Promote continuous improvement within the division and participate in internal projects Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (concentration in Accounting) preferred 1+ years of accounting experience in a professional environment (General Ledger, AR, AP, Cash Management) Basic knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and US tax Strong PC skills with knowledge of Excel Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills Ability to multi-task; deadline-driven with a strong work ethic Very good verbal and written communication skills Additional Details
Pet travel: up to 10% Physical requirements: standard office environment; ability to lift up to 15 pounds; ability to work in an open office/noisy environment; ability to sit for prolonged periods during travel Eligibility: US work authorization without visa sponsorship Salary and Benefits
