As a Relationship Banker you serve as a trusted advisor to customers, focusing on building strong, long-lasting relationships by understanding their financial needs and goals. This role involves providing tailored solutions for banking, lending and investment products while delivering exceptional customer service. Actively engage with customers to identify opportunities for cross-selling, resolve issues, and educate them on digital banking tools. Collaborate with team members to drive branch sales targets and contribute to the bank’s growth objectives. Ensure an elevated customer experience, delivering personalized, seamless, and attentive service. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense. Responsibilities may extend to supporting nearby branch locations based on business necessity. Qualifications
High school diploma, GED or equivalent; business management, finance, or related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience/trainings preferred. 3+ years experience in selling products/services in an incentive-based environment or 12+ months in retail banking sales/financial services sales with proven success in acquiring and deepening customer relationships. 12+ months Santander-related experience in related functions is preferred. 12+ months customer service experience in a high-volume environment. Established relationship-building, excellent customer service, and cross-selling skills. Strong communication, consultative and influencing skills; professional image. Proficient with digital tools and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; willingness to work branch hours including weekends and evenings. What Else You Need To Know
