Data and Digital Literacy: possess knowledge of data collection modes, techniques and tools; ensure data quality and organize information for analysis; develop and implement technology changes across multiple processes within the assigned area. Environmental Protection: know environmental policies and regulations; operate tools for evaluating air, water and waste pollution; support regulatory visits and audit reports; integrate environmental considerations into process design; interpret compliance status and risk management practices. Operational Excellence: understand organizational processes, SOPs and OBW; explain operational functions and interdependencies; locate and read SOP/OBW information; identify primary operational functions and improvement opportunities. Partnership & Collaboration: manage stakeholder identification, engagement and communication; deliver project activity; support process updates and changes; solve simple business issues. Employee Health and Safety: understand OSHA guidelines and safety/audit processes; participate in inspections; maintain safety equipment and records; apply continuous improvement tools; lead root cause analyses for incidents. Asset Protection & Security: understand asset protection policies; work with tools for theft prevention; investigate security breaches; assist with access control and installation of alarms and surveillance; maintain loss prevention records and reports; support loss/shrinkage reduction efforts. EHS Training Delivery: understand training methodologies; support training programs; solicit participant feedback; support training lifecycles. Risk Management: produce and interpret risk assessment reports; identify and manage risks relevant to the unit; conduct risk assessments and continuously improve processes. Process Improvement: define critical workflows; identify and address core problems; lead investigations and provide countermeasures; coach others in process improvement. Influential Communication: organize thoughts, present clearly, use data to support recommendations; actively listen and provide constructive feedback; build professional relationships. Transportation Operations: understand DOT and related regulations; ensure proper documentation; monitor transportation metrics and compliance; coordinate stakeholder plans and initiatives. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Option 1: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety Management; Criminal Justice, Security, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field. Option 2: 2 years’ experience in Environmental, Health and Safety or Asset Protection, Security, within Supply Chain or Retail. Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications 1 or more degreed certifications (ASEP/LPC/CSP, etc.); 2+ years of investigative or asset protection experience in retail or warehouse; Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint and OneDrive.
