Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world. The role We are seeking a Fraud Specialist to join our Fraud Operations team. Our candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough fraud investigations on SoFi Products. What you’ll do: Provide internal support for less complex fraud-related tasks to enhance production and manage work volumes, escalating cases for further review as needed. Complete and submit simple Unusual Activity Reports. Serve as a liaison between Omni and Fraud Investigations. Support Omni when necessary to ensure SLA is met. Execute thorough fraud reviews to confirm fraud and define appropriate next steps. Research and gather information, engaging with members, third parties, and/or financial institutions as necessary to clarify applicant statements. Safeguard the institution against fraud-related financial losses. Ensure strict compliance with departmental standards and established processes. Contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration, agility, innovation, and excellence. What you’ll need: 1-2+ years of direct fraud experience is mandatory. Exceptional knowledge of SoFi products and operational processes. Demonstrated ability to establish strong peer relationships and communicate effectively with leadership, and external partners. Strong, detail-oriented written communication skills. Excellent time management, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.). Foundational understanding of bank operations, industry trends, best practices, and relevant federal and state banking regulations. Strong knowledge of Standard Operational Procedures and a process-oriented approach. Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make independent, well-supported judgmental decisions based on research. High degree of responsibility, ownership, and accountability for work outcomes. Thrive in a dynamic, and team-focused work environment. Compensation And Benefits The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
