Sales Representative
is responsible for achieving sales goals within their territory. Responsibilities include establishing customer relations through communication and appointments, maintaining expert knowledge of our product portfolio, and consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding Arthrex products and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory, working with surgeons and healthcare professionals. Build and maintain strong business relationships; develop and implement sales strategies. Communicate with current and new customers about product updates, portfolio changes, and educational programs. Implement new sales and marketing strategies to meet/exceed objectives. Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions. Address account problems. Support compliance, maintain confidentiality, act ethically, and adhere to laws and company policies. Receive coaching and training; transfer knowledge to peers. Maintain training in sales skills, product features, and business applications. Collect competitive data and stay current on industry trends. Participate in sales and professional meetings outside regular hours, as required. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management. Requirements
Education and Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree required. Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market. Comfortable in open operating room environments. Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and OR protocols. Ability to learn technical information, anatomy, and surgical indications. Prior sales experience is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Training
Proficiency in MS Office. Ability to create effective business plans. Commission-driven with strong communication skills. Sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure. Self-confidence and competitive drive. Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take responsibility. Compliance with all policies and regulations. Tools and Equipment
Valid driver’s license and access to transportation. Additional Details
