HDR is an employee-owned company currently seeking qualified individuals to provide project, geographic and technical leadership in our growing dam, levee and flood resilience programs. HDR is highly ranked in the United States by ENR for Dams and Reservoirs and in Hydropower. Our globally coordinated, locally delivered dam, levee and flood resilience program is committed to improving the resiliency, sustainability, and safety of our communities. Our nation’s dams, levees and flood control systems are being upgraded and rebuilt to adapt to a changing climate, provide more efficient renewable power and meet growing water needs. HDR engineers are leading the way to solve our toughest water infrastructure problems. Responsibilities

Provide project, geographic and technical leadership in HDR's dam, levee and flood resilience programs. Serve as engineers of record, group managers and technical practice leaders with expertise in working on complex dam, levee and flood resilience management projects. Expertise in potential failure mode analysis is a growing need. Contribute to HDR’s national and local teams across locations; relocation or proximity to opportunities may be required. Qualifications

Civil, structural, geotechnical, or hydraulic engineers with interest in dam, levee and flood resilience projects. Experience or interest in potential failure mode analysis (PFMA). Familiarity with hydraulic and geotechnical tools and software (examples include PLAXIS, SLOPE, SEEP, APILE, LPILE, GROUP, SETTLE3D, SHAKE, FEMA, FLAC, LSDYNA, Seep/W, Slope/W, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, etc.). Ability to work on design, analysis and risk assessment for dams, levees and flood control systems. Locations and work arrangements
