We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Accounting Manager

to join our team. The Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of the accounting cycle, including daily operations, financial reporting, payroll, tax compliance, and audits. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing leadership with timely financial insights to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Develop and maintain schedules for fixed assets, depreciation, and other supporting documentation. Prepare CPA audit schedules and support external audits. Accounts Payable, Receivable & Cash Management Review and approve accounts payable disbursements and ensure proper documentation. Monitor accounts for receivable aging and collections. Verify daily bank balances and perform monthly bank reconciliations. Payroll, Benefits & 401K Administration Oversee payroll processing, including payroll taxes and reconciliations. Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, and insurance renewals. Manage 401K contributions, year-end processing, and regulatory filings (e.g., Form 5500). Prepare and review W-2s, 1099s, and ACA reporting requirements. Tax Compliance & Regulatory Filings Prepare and file sales and use tax returns (monthly and quarterly). Manage business property tax returns, licensing renewals, and corporate compliance documentation. Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll tax updates. Maintain corporate minutes and assist with compliance reporting. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel required. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with proven leadership experience.
