$145,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr
Key responsibilities
Drive monthly, quarterly, and year-end close; deliver GAAP financials and flux analysis. Oversee cost accounting: standards, BOM/routings, overhead rates, PPV/LRV, absorption, and margin analysis. Own inventory accounting: WIP/FG valuation, cycle counts, physicals, obsolescence, and reserves. Manage fixed assets and CapEx: project accounting, capitalization, depreciation, and post-audits. Lead plant P&L reviews; partner with Ops on KPIs, throughput, scrap, and productivity. Maintain accounting policies, reconciliations, and internal controls; remediate gaps. Coordinate external audit and PBCs; support tax with schedules and workpapers. Improve ERP and close tools; automate reconciliations and reporting (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/BC; BlackLine/FloQast). Support revenue/cost recognition, leases (ASC 842), and technical accounting as needed. Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff; build bench strength and succession plans. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA preferred. 8+ years progressive accounting with 3+ in manufacturing; cost/inventory expertise required. Track record leading closes, audits, and control frameworks; SOX experience a plus. Advanced Excel; strong ERP proficiency and data skills. Clear communicator with bias for action and cross-functional partnership. Seniority level
