What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead the financial reporting and technical accounting team in drafting and filing all SEC financial documents, including forms 10-Q, 10-K, and Proxy
Monitor and analyze new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations, implementing necessary changes
Manage the preparation and maintenance of the external reporting process, including financial statements and EPS calculations
Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews
Provide technical accounting guidance and develop reference materials for business units
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in public accounting and a strong background in SEC reporting and technical accounting in a public company
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, including share-based compensation, EPS, business combinations, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements
Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience working directly with accounting, FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations teams
Familiarity with technical accounting projects and establishing accounting policies
Previous experience mentoring and developing team members
