Responsibilities
Lead the financial reporting and technical accounting team in drafting and filing SEC documents including forms 10-Q, 10-K, and Proxy
Monitor new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations to assess their impact and implement necessary changes
Manage the preparation and maintenance of external reporting processes, including financial statements and EPS calculations
Serve as primary liaison with external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews
Mentor and develop the SEC reporting and technical accounting team
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in public accounting and a strong background in SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting
In-depth knowledge of GAAP including share-based compensation, EPS, business combination, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements
Proven ability to lead and manage a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management
Experience working in a public company environment with SOX compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with accounting, FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
