Full Time Assistant Store Manager (Store 5549) at GameStop. This role supports the Store Manager in all facets of store operations and helps develop a sales culture by delivering outstanding guest service. Responsibilities

Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests promptly, respond to questions and concerns, inform guests of promotions, and recommend additional items; circulate throughout the store to prioritize guests over tasks. Support the store environment and current sales initiatives; help build guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns accurately using the POS system; ensure correct changes, provide receipts, and maintain high guest service standards. Respond to guest inquiries in person or by phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop guest benefits (e.g., new title reservations, trade-ins, Pro Rewards). Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates in policies, procedures, and guidelines. Observe associate performance, provide feedback, and address unsatisfactory performance with guidance from the Store Manager. Provide recognition and feedback to associates; document performance in Workday/HR system in partnership with the Store Manager. Ensure onboarding, job training, and compliance training are completed prior to opening/closing shifts; knowledge of store policies, inventory controls, loss prevention, safety, and ethics. Schedule store associates to meet guidelines; supervise staffing to maintain optimal guest service; ensure adherence to policies. Approve payroll, manage paid time off, and verify pay for time worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per company guidelines; ensure fixtures and equipment operate properly. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and ensure daily shipping. Protect assets through inventory control and loss prevention; conduct safety checks and communicate concerns to the Store Manager. Support achieving sales, profit, and shrink goals; complete required administrative and operational duties. Perform store inventory counts, restock merchandise, and ensure products are represented and organized on the floor. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred. At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Outgoing, welcoming personality with strong people skills. Genuine, individualized guest assistance; clear verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; work independently and as part of a team. Reliability, trustworthiness, and good judgment; ability to work alone and stand/move for extended periods. Operate POS system; basic math and alphabetizing skills; complete required paperwork accurately. Flexible schedule with availability evenings, weekends, and some holidays (minimum 3 days/week). Capable of handling pressure, solving problems, and adapting to change; safety and ethics awareness. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform related physical tasks as needed. Onboarding knowledge related to military base locations (where applicable). Pay
