The Fund Services unit administers hedge fund assets and provides fund administration services including daily accounting, transfer agency and investor services, middle and back-office support, and portfolio analytics, supported by over 1,300 professionals. The global Investor Services (IS) team delivers transfer agency services and interactions with investors, including distributing offering materials, collecting subscription documents and funding, processing investor statements, redemptions, and related functions to support Fund/Investor relationships. IS staff are based in Manhattan and Purchase (NY), Dublin, Mumbai and Bangalore. We are seeking an Investment Services Professional for our New York City or Purchase office. Responsibilities
Providing day-to-day Investor services to both the Fund Manager and the investors in the fund Providing oversight and guidance to other team members Keeping line management apprised of operational issues in a timely manner Principle Accountabilities
Service Delivery Act as a primary contact point for fund investors Act as a primary contact point to the Fund Manager for investor-related information Provide authorized parties with copies of fund investment documentation Open new investor accounts ensuring compliance with fund documentation, anti-money laundering requirements, statutory regulations and company policies Process investor transactions in line with fund documentation, anti-money laundering requirements, statutory regulations and company policies Process cash movements associated with investor activity Provide investors and their nominees with statements, contract notes and other documentation Handle queries from investors and fund managers in a professional and prompt manner, escalating where appropriate Maintain complete and organized fund records Produce MIS and other internal operational reports for team effectiveness Particular responsibility for second-level review of activity entered by fellow team members All activities to be carried out in compliance with agreed SLAs Skills and Qualifications
Team Leadership : IS Professional plays a key role in day-to-day operations Key Responsibilities
include training and mentoring team members, ensuring awareness of policies and controls, providing escalation points, timely issue notification, and highlighting resource constraints Compliance : Knowledge of fund offering documentation, regulations pertaining to the fund domicile, and internal policies with emphasis on Anti-Money Laundering controls Projects : Involvement in IT and Operational Projects, identifying system enhancements, and participating in project life cycle (specification, testing, implementation) and record conversions What to Expect from Morgan Stanley

Base pay range: $90,000 – $130,000 per year for Associate at commencement, with compensation determined on an individualized basis and potentially including bonuses and other incentives.
