Job Summary Responsible for prospecting and running Heartland Payments presentations both in person and over the phone to business owners or Financial Institution (FI) Partners to close deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Financial Institutions Relationship Manager (FI-RM), you will report to a District Manager and receive coaching from a Director. Activities include explaining our value proposition to clients via Atlas CRM and Salesforce, upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Financial Institutions District Manager.

Job Duties

Engage in partner activity by visiting assigned financial institutions (FI) branch locations to build trusted partnerships with FI partners.

Foster strong relationships, align with branch goals, and drive collaboration and success.

During training, your District Manager will accompany you on initial appointments to train you on the short-cycle sales process using the Atlas tablet-based CRM for lead generation, sales presentations, on-the-spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing.

Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000+ (Base Salary: $40,000+; eligible for residual income and bonuses for exceeding quota)

Additional Responsibilities

Prospect new clients into the North America Merchant Services realm.

Maintain CRM records (Atlas and Salesforce) with call notes, scheduled interactions, and contact information.

Engage with assigned FI partner through weekly branch visits, monthly training sessions, bank meetings, and huddles.

Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first-time appointments to secure quota.

Continuously build knowledge of the product/service portfolio and industry trends.

Attend weekly team meetings, weekly one-on-one, and semi-monthly field rides with District Manager.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

18 years of age or older

Regular driving to visit client sites; valid driver's license required

Background check conducted after a conditional offer of employment

Mandatory drug screening on or near the 60th day of employment

Live in the area relative to the job posting location

Ability to be in the field at least 75% of the time
