Part-Time Accounting Bookkeeper
for our OpCo,
Gravity Networks . The Accounting Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with month-end closing. This role supports the accounting function and ensures compliance with accounting principles and internal policies. About Gravity Networks… Gravity Networks is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Knoxville, TN. We specialize in delivering proactive IT support and technology solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across various industries. Our mission is to simplify IT, increase security, and enable business growth through reliable and efficient technology services. Your work as an Accounting Bookkeeper will include the following duties: Record financial transactions and maintain general ledger Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Generate and send client invoices, including recurring service billing Track and follow up on outstanding receivables Assist with payroll preparation and employee expense tracking Maintain vendor and client records (W-9s, 1099s, etc.) Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate time tracking for billing Prepare ad hoc financial summaries or reports as requested Our Ideal Accounting Bookkeeper Has The Following Qualifications Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required) Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Familiarity with MSP business models and PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask) is a plus The targeted base compensation for this role is $50,000 per year and will operate out of their Knoxville, TN office (approx. 30 hours per week).
