ST Engineering MRAS . Who YOU Are And What YOU Can Become Environmental health and safety (EHS) coordinators work to create and enforce a culture of safety within their organizations. You implement programs, policies, and assessments to ensure their company follows all federal and internal health and safety rules. You will work closely with manufacturing operations, engineering, and leadership teams in order to accomplish goals. What YOU Will Do

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and business requirements on the shop floor Engage operations teams to ensure effective implementation of key EHS programs and improve organizational culture Work directly with Assembly and Bonding employees on quantifying risk and motivate them to be a part of the improvement process Lead corrective action teams for all injuries and investigations in manufacturing setting Train hourly employees on items relating to Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance requirements as well as Business Priorities such as Behavioral Based Safety and Hazard Recognition Work both indoors and outdoors around a manufacturing facility with heavy equipment and overhead cranes Maintain and conduct periodic audits and inspections of safety equipment on site What YOU Must Bring To Succeed

Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college in Environmental, Health, and Safety field or related field with 1-3 years of relatable experience OR High School diploma/ GED equivalent with 5+ years of relatable experience Possess the ability to conduct training sessions with knowledge of Adult Learning techniques Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including union members and upper management Physical demands of walking, climbing stairs/ladders and equipment, being in tight areas to conduct job evaluations of employees. Minimal lifting will be required. This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. A ‘U.S. Person,’ as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62, includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the United States. To be considered for this position, you must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization. If hired, you will be required to provide valid proof of such status Desired Characteristics

OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Trained, CPR/First Aid/AED Certification Knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) standards Strong technical background. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite tools Experience with Ergonomic assessments, evaluation, and job coaching Experience with Behavioral Based Safety & HIRA or Hazard Recognition Strong oral, written communication, and conflict resolution skills Flexible schedule as production needs change Compensation and Benefits

At ST Engineering, we offer great rewards, competitive pay, career advancement and growth opportunities. Estimate salary range for this role: $25 to $36.50 per hour. Overtime eligible role. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location.
