Accounting Manager
— Freshway Foods & Freshway Logistics, a leading fresh-cut produce processor and logistics provider, is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee core accounting operations and financial reporting in a dynamic, private equity-backed environment. Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles, ensuring accurate financial statements and timely internal/external reporting Oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and operational accounting Manage ERP accounting systems, drive process improvements, and ensure data integrity Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance reports, and operational analyses to support executive decision-making Present financial insights and lead discussion in weekly operations meetings Maintain strong internal controls and support audit/compliance processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable financial insights Partner with leadership on reporting and analysis for private equity stakeholders Mentor, develop, and supervise accounting team members Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership, ideally in a private equity-backed or dynamic business environment Advanced ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Strong technical GAAP knowledge and audit experience Proven success in operational close, financial reporting, and team management Location
