We are actively recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and growing accounting team supporting a complex multi-entity organization. Primary Responsibilities
Lead high-level financial coding and accrual entries for upper-tier entities. Review and correct lower-level coding performed by team members, offering guidance and feedback. Ensure compliance with financial policies related to allocations, categorization, and documentation. Manage complex accounting tasks such as accruals, fee calculations, and intercompany cash loan rebalancing. Monitor and reconcile intercompany (Due To / Due From) balances monthly. Resolve intercompany discrepancies proactively before the month-end close. Review and validate payroll journal entries for accuracy and compliance with benefit/tax obligations. Partner with payroll and AP staff to ensure correct entity-level payroll allocations. Oversee AP processing, ensuring vendor invoices are accurately coded and compliant with policy. Supervise Staff Accountants to ensure timely reconciliations and clean, accurate bank registers. Serve as the internal expert for Gravity accounting software, driving automation and workflow improvements. Deliver ongoing training and updates to the team on the effective use of Gravity features.
Education, Skills, and Experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Possess 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within multi-entity environments. Demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge, especially with intercompany reconciliations. Display advanced proficiency in accounting systems; experience with Gravity is strongly preferred. Apply excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Communicate clearly and effectively with both finance and non-finance team members. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a high level of accountability. Exhibit leadership capabilities and interest in mentoring junior staff. Understand and enforce compliance with financial policies and procedures.
