SHINE Technologies is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will serve as a key business partner to SHINE management and will support multiple departments within the organization. The position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities and will help the business develop, implement and maintain key processes, including the budget, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and will support analysis & reporting of monthly/quarterly operating results. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide analytical support to cross-functional teams to help drive the company\'s operating performance and financial returns. This is a dynamic role in a startup/development company and will provide the right candidate with a multitude of exciting and challenging experiences, room for professional growth, and long-term potential. The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $150,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
Business Partnership: Serve as a financial resource for SHINE and Phoenix, LLC businesses and additional projects as needed. Provide guidance and support to senior leaders in the pursuit of Company objectives. Must understand business strategy, model and processes to influence stakeholders. Manage P&L for an entire entity. Financial Modeling: Build, maintain and improve financial, revenue and operational models and plans to measure and forecast the performance of the business and projects. Planning and Financial Analysis: Lead and support our business planning processes (long-range plan, annual operating plan, monthly/quarterly forecasts, management reporting). Monitor P&L through month end processes, provide variance analysis post-close and report result to business leads. Financial and Business Analysis: Analyze projects, initiatives, and investments. Synthesize insights to members of the executive team to drive better outcomes, an increase in revenue or decrease in cost. Participate in monthly business reviews for your functional area. Financial Process Improvement: Execute improvements to processes across SHINE and Phoenix. Communication: Prepare and review visualizations of financial data to promote internal and external understanding of the company\'s financial results. Clearly articulate insights. Revenue Recognition and Invoice: ensure appropriate, accurate revenue recognition and invoice submittal for major customer projects. Work closely with senior leaders on an on-going basis to evaluate risks and strategic scenarios, providing thought-leadership on financial drivers, risks, sensitivities and trade-offs. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience Five years of progressive financial experience (FP&A-like role preferred) Experience with accounting, financial analysis and modeling; strong working knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles Ability to clearly communicate financial concepts to non-finance personnel Strong work ethic and sense of urgency; strong analytical capability with high attention to detail Ability to present and defend findings to various constituencies, including executive leadership Experience owning a business function as a finance business partner Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to create detailed, organized financial models and projections
