The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company As a Area Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our market expansion and sales performance in your assigned region. You will take full ownership of sales targets, dealer relationships, and market intelligence, ensuring our brand continues to grow and thrive. Your Key Responsibilities: Sales & Market Development: You will be responsible for achieving monthly volume and POS targets across your territory. You will focus on key product goals: Drive sales of 16" & above in GY and Drive sales of 14" & above in Kelly. You will identify and appoint new Dealers and BROs to expand our market footprint. You will monitor your performance against targets and take corrective action when needed. You will strictly adhere to your Beat Plan and Permanent Journey Plan (PJP). You will track competitor pricing and activities and share timely feedback. You will work toward achieving your Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals, including volume, product mix, and channel expansion. You will actively contribute to improving our Share of Accounts (SOA) and Share of Market (SOM). Relationship Management: You will build and maintain strong relationships with key Dealers (BROs/MBRs). You will support dealers by coordinating orders and payments, especially during their absence. You will collaborate with other departments to implement approved service solutions. Reporting & Insights: You will prepare and submit timely and accurate reports. Your Experience & Background: You bring 5+ years of proven experience in field sales, preferably in the automotive, tyre, or FMCG industry. You have a strong track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share in competitive environments. You’ve successfully appointed and managed dealer networks, and understand the dynamics of channel development. You’ve worked with volume-driven KPIs and can confidently report on performance metrics like AOP, SOA, and SOM. Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
