Overview
Our client, a women’s luxury apparel brand, is seeking a dynamic and experienced sales leader with a proven track record in wholesale sales, managing national reps and marketing within the luxury fashion industry. This leader will be instrumental in driving sales growth, expanding the wholesale footprint with current and new sales channels, and shaping the marketing strategies that elevate and grow the brand. The salary range for this role is $150,000-$170,000 plus bonus opportunity. Responsibilities
Manage and motivate a network of independent, commissioned sales agents and regional trade show budgets to achieve company sales, growth, and profitability objectives. Lead and inspire sales and marketing employees and staff at all levels while overseeing the wholesale sales function. Build a roadmap to accelerate growth with existing accounts and expand into new accounts and distribution channels. Drive go-to-market strategies and business execution across wholesale, ensuring operational excellence. Plan and execute company’s national trade show events, driving achievement of sales goals and brand awareness. Manage key partnerships and oversee team to strengthen all existing account relationships. Collect and analyze sales data to support management of the sales team, marketing plans, product buy recommendations and to develop clear KPIs to achieve budgets and grow revenue. Manage sales and marketing budgets, sales margins, and wholesale revenue to achieve budgeted P&L goals. Provide customer and market feedback to Design/Merchandising to align assortments, SKU planning, and category expansion with market opportunities. Provide JOOR seasonal best-seller reports to support sales team. Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that support wholesale growth and brand visibility. Guide development of wholesale-focused creative assets—including lookbooks, seasonal launch eblast, and sales tools—for use in trade shows, trunk shows, and partner campaigns. Oversee brand positioning and messaging within the wholesale channel, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy. Strengthen relationships with wholesale partners through collaborative marketing initiatives, events, and co-branded activations. Partner with Social Media team to amplify wholesale initiatives across key channels. Qualifications
10+ years of experience in wholesale sales with demonstrated success leading teams and driving growth; better/contemporary or luxury apparel experience strongly preferred. Strong, hands-on background in wholesale marketing, including brand positioning, creative asset development, and partner marketing programs. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships with key accounts. Solid understanding of wholesale operations and financials, including P&L management, retail math, and product performance analysis. High level of comfort accessing and analyzing sales data. Strategic thinker with creativity, data fluency, and strong business acumen. Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong executive presence and polished communication/presentation skills. Experience working with a sophisticated sales tracking system, preferably JOOR and Excel but will also consider Salesforce, NetSuite, or a similar tool. About Solomon Page
