Construction Senior Accounting Manager – Succession Plan to CFO. A leading commercial MEP contractor generating over $30 million in annual revenue across Florida offers a succession track opportunity to the CFO, with the chance to influence financial strategy, oversee accounting operations, and contribute to long-term growth. You’ll work in a fast-paced, growing contractor environment where accuracy, accountability, and leadership are valued at every step. YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Acting as right hand to the CFO with a clear succession plan to CFO role. Driving strategic financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. Accounting Operations Oversight Managing General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) with accuracy and timeliness. Leading the Cost Accounting function – job costing, variance analysis, labor and material tracking. Preparing and analyzing Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports and supporting executive decision-making. Overseeing AIA billing, lien releases, contract compliance, and retention tracking. Leadership & Development Mentoring and managing accounting staff with assistance from the CFO to start and then grow to lead. Partnering with operations, project management, and executives to ensure financial alignment. WHAT YOU BRING

AIA billing, WIP, revenue recognition, cost-to-complete. Systems Knowledge:
Construction systems such as Sage and Procore. Accounting Leadership:
