Overview
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for
Assistant Unit Managers I . Assistant Unit Managers I are the first supervisory level in the nursing series responsible for assisting a Unit Manager with the management and supervision of a Medical/Surgical, Telemetry or Postpartum Unit. Duties include assigning and reviewing work, overseeing staffing, administering and recommending discipline, serving as the first level in the grievance process, and assisting with day-to-day clinical operations of a patient care unit or service on a designated shift and perform charge nurse duties. The current vacancy exists in the Postpartum Unit. The established list will be used to fill other vacancies as they occur throughout the Hospital.
Compensation and Benefits Bi-Annual Step Increases of 2.5% and an excellent benefits package for the employee and their dependents. The position can boost annual salary up to
$146,016
when Modified Benefits Option is selected (depending on qualifications).

About ARMC ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, located on a 70-acre campus in Colton, California, is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed teaching hospital. It houses a regional burn center, stroke center, level I trauma center, and a behavioral health center, with multiple clinics and specialty services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM).

Candidates must possess ALL of the following:
License:
Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
Certification:
Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) and certifications required by unit, such as:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Basic Fetal Monitoring
Basic Arrhythmia Recognition
Critical Care course
NIH Stroke Scale
Neonatal Intensive Care course
Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Operating Room Nursing Course
Trauma Nurse Core Course
Candidates possessing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and charge nurse experience are desired.
