What You’ll Do :

As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and growing new customer accounts in the legal community. You will move through assigned territories across the country on a monthly basis to support the business. Each territory includes a large base of small-to-mid-size law firms. You will use prospecting and consultative selling to identify opportunities to provide FindLaw web-based marketing and advertising solutions. You will also partner with our internal Account Management team to ensure post-sales satisfaction and retention of existing FindLaw customers.

About the Role :

Responsible for attaining sales targets and quota monthly in assigned territory.

Consult with clients regarding web-based marketing strategies and solutions that meet business needs and generate more business.

Strategically grow a customer base through prospecting and cold calling.

Maintain sales pipeline with accurate information in Salesforce CRM, including activity, closings, forecast, and market intelligence.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of the full line of products/services and customers’ business issues and needs.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve client concerns; establish and maintain relationships with current and potential clients.

This position is part of a formal field sales development program designed to prepare for advancement to a field-based Senior Sales Executive, Digital Solutions if desired.

About You

Experience :

4-year college degree or equivalent experience.

Experience in outside sales in a professional B2B environment.

Proven track record of sales success, fast growth, and consistently achieving 100%+ performance.

Proven track record of developing new customer accounts requiring heavy prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting, and closing ability.

Previous sales experience in online/advertising environment a plus.

Knowledge & Skills :

Working knowledge of sales process, methods and techniques.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret market needs and translate them into products/services.

Excellent communication and persuasion skills, including the ability to make a concept tangible to potential customers and deliver effective presentations.

Proven organizational skills, effective time management, and ability to work independently.

Travel :

This is a virtual position; you may be required to travel for annual sales trainings.

Compensation: $70,000 base + uncapped commission, averaging $60,000-$80,000. Top performers around $175k OTE at quota.
