Job Description
The Western Regional Sales Manager for the Natural/Specialty channel manages sales efforts for Primal Kitchen in the Western territory. The Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible for strategically managing the broker network of sales reps and working closely with the Director of Sales-West to implement key strategies and growth initiatives. Responsibilities/Duties

Collaborate with the Marketing team on marketing initiatives. Manage and work with the broker network. Utilize data from SPINS/Nielsen. Focus on Natural/Specialty Channel key accounts and independents. Duties
Manage Natural/Specialty sales in the West. Key account management for Natural Grocers, New Seasons, PCC, Nugget, NW Grocers, Gelson’s, Raley’s, and other key accounts and independents in the region. Drive growth by managing broker networks, distributors, and developing buyer relationships. Address distribution gaps with new and existing accounts. Create and implement promotional plans for your account base. Achieve volume and profit goals. Coordinate with marketing and shopper marketing teams to support regional initiatives. Present products and conduct category reviews, emphasizing the quality advantage of Primal Kitchen products. Use Spins and Nielsen data effectively for selling and managing business. Handle administrative duties like paperwork, reporting, and internal tools. Continuously seek new opportunities aligned with company goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
The following are minimum qualifications needed to perform this role successfully. Qualifications may vary based on department size and location. At least 2+ years of sales experience with brokers, key accounts, and independent retailers. Experience in a fast-growing food company. Strong organizational, negotiation, quantitative, and leadership skills. Understanding of the packaged food business dynamics. Proven entrepreneurial achievements and risk tolerance. Drive, flexibility, and commitment. Ability to multitask while maintaining customer focus. Effective use of syndicated data for sales strategies. Ability to create compelling retailer presentations.
