Responsibilities
Lead role on real estate transactions, including direct negotiation of transactional documents and drafting of fundamental documents.
Oversee supporting junior associates as deals require.
Possess experience in commercial real estate: acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, portfolio or multi-site transactions, title and survey review, and due diligence.
Possess the ability to manage significant project responsibility in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate; experience in more than one of energy/project finance, restaurant operations, office leasing, and general corporate law is a plus.
Strong academic background, superior drafting and negotiation skills.
Ability to take on significant project responsibility and manage workload; diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, supportive, and team-oriented.
Must be admitted or eligible for admission to the Utah Bar.
Practice Summary The experience of our Real Estate Practice spans 40 years of delivering multidisciplinary legal solutions for property investment, development, management, and finance. We draw upon more than 700 real estate lawyers and GT’s global resources. Our client base includes developers, retailers, institutional investors, financial institutions, restaurants, REITs, lenders, and private owners in transactions across all property types including multifamily, logistics, industrial, office, restaurant, energy and retail including mixed-use developments.
