This position is part of the Finance organization and focuses on financial planning, analysis, and decision support across the business.

What Will You Be Doing?

Own recurring and ad-hoc analyses across the organization, including short- and long-term financial planning.

Lead ongoing cost reduction opportunity sizing and execution, competitive and strategic benchmarking, and labor analysis.

Support capital allocation and fleet planning, flight profitability analyses, and complex financial modeling (e.g., IRR, NPV, payback).

Provide timely, accurate analyses and collaborate with Finance leadership, business partners, and operating groups.

Act as an internal consultant to improve processes and efficiency across the organization.

Benchmark financial and operational performance against competitors and industry best practices.

Conduct ad-hoc projects, reports, and analyses as requested by senior management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; finance, accounting, or other quantitative field preferred.

Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline strongly preferred.

3+ years of relevant experience in finance, consulting, or related fields; or an equivalent combination of graduate work and experience.

Functional experience in financial accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, modeling, planning, forecasting, and/or management reporting preferred.

Experience and/or familiarity with building models using Anaplan software is preferred.

Prior airline experience is beneficial.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Advanced analytical and quantitative skills; strong understanding of economic, financial, and accounting concepts.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to collaborate with all levels of management.

Ability to structure logical analytical approaches and apply quantitative techniques to solve business problems efficiently.

Ability to independently prioritize analyses in a fast-paced environment.

Self-sufficiency in solving analytical challenges with limited data and tight deadlines.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, macros, and data-mining/analysis tools.

Work environment: typical office setting with standard conditions.

Physical effort: generally not required.

Supervision received: general direction with minimal day-to-day instruction.

Position status: Full-time, Mid-Senior level.

Salary: $72,000 - $96,331 per year (note: salary ranges may be updated).
