We are seeking a seasoned and highly analytical
Accounting Manager
to lead the financial operations of our dynamic and fast-paced family office. This role blends day-to-day accounting oversight with strategic financial reporting to support executive decision-making. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles to help ensure the financial integrity and long-term success of the organization. Responsibilities
Accounting Operations & Oversight Lead all general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation in compliance with GAAP. Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management, invoicing, and disbursements. Ensure accurate expense classification, perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, and manage short- and long-term cash flow tracking. Financial Reporting & Strategic Insights Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, P&Ls, and cash flow reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Provide clear and actionable financial analysis and insights to the CEO and executive leadership to guide business decisions and long-term planning. Systems & Process Optimization Maintain and enhance accounting systems and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), ensuring data accuracy and reporting efficiency. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to streamline accounting operations. Develop, implement, and enforce robust internal controls to protect financial assets and maintain regulatory compliance. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA preferred but not required. 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management roles. Proficient in modern accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel modeling. Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity. Experience in a family office, private equity, investment management, or similar environment highly valued. What We Offer
A competitive base salary range between $120,000 - $150,000 dependent upon factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, and internal alignment.
