Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I (Supervisor), the incumbent will perform complex analytic work associated with the operation of the Property Tax Postponement (PTP) Program. Duties Performed:

(Candidates must perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodations.) Perform intake duties for PTP applications, which includes researching applicant information and data entry of accounts in various databases. Perform research, review applications, and determine claimant eligibility for the PTP program. Review complex eligibility documentation and prepare requests for legal opinion for complicated ownership issues. Conduct research and analysis on accounts that are due and payable. Consult and communicate with debtors and/or representatives to facilitate resolution on long-standing payment delinquency issues. Provide analytical services for writing PTP policies, desk procedures, legislative bill analysis, or other projects as necessary. Communicate both orally and in writing to questions from legal representatives, tax collectors, and the general public regarding the PTP program.
