Overview
This position is contingent upon a future opening with Gunnison. Salary: $135,000 - $155,000/year Work location: Hybrid, primarily remote with ad hoc on-site work, frequency TBD. This position serves as a Gunnison employee in support of a federal cybersecurity operations support contract. Join our exceptional group of cybersecurity pros! Duties and responsibilities include: Lead and manage the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program to enhance agency security posture through real-time monitoring and risk assessment. Oversee the implementation and operation of CDM capabilities, driving continuous improvement to address emerging threats. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align CDM efforts with organizational objectives. Develop and enforce policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations and security best practices. Requirements Minimum of 3 years supporting an agency-level CDM program or leading CDM implementations for 5 years. Demonstrable expertise in coordinating large-scale CDM initiatives and managing complex security operations. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Project Management Professional (PMP). Desired Qualifications: Experience with federal agency security requirements and compliance standards. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred. Additional certifications related to cybersecurity management or systems security. Advanced degree or specialized coursework in cybersecurity or information systems. Clearance Requirement : Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements. Gunnison's total compensation package also includes bonus and profit-sharing opportunities, depending on company and employee performance.
