Description This position is contingent upon a future opening with Gunnison. Salary: 135,000 - 155,000/year. Work location: Hybrid, primarily remote with ad hoc on-site work, frequency TBD. This position serves as a Gunnison employee in support of a federal cybersecurity operations support contract. Join our exceptional group of cybersecurity pros! Responsibilities

Design, install, maintain, support, and develop IT systems within hybrid infrastructures (on-prem and cloud). Execute application development with a focus on security and federal compliance. Collaborate in developing secure code practices and integrating automation in deployment processes. Communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work with cloud security services including AWS, Azure, and O365. Develop and maintain legacy JavaServer Pages applications and full stack or cloud-based web applications. Analyze and address security issues, conducting root-cause analyses, and participate in resolving issues. Requirements

5+ years in IT systems across hybrid environments. 2+ years in cybersecurity. Knowledge in cloud security and DevSecOps practices. Proficient in Java, Python, SOAP API, and SQL for automation and tool development. Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks (FISMA, NIST). Desired Qualifications

Experience in collaborating with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams. Additional certifications related to cloud security or software development. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred. Master’s degree in a technology-related field. Clearance

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements. Gunnison's total compensation package also includes bonus and profit-sharing opportunities, depending on company and employee performance.
