Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa seeks colleagues with unmatched service. The Sales Manager is a fully competent professional who has experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, solicits and generates business. Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate. The Sales Manager may lead event meetings and sales and other staff meetings, and works as a team member with the sales and catering staff in close contact with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.
The starting salary for this position is $70,000. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to customer groups
Manage accounts and conduct site inspections
Solicit and generate business; prepare and present effective proposals
Maintain well-organized documentation and reports; utilize Hyatt systems
Coordinate customer service requirements as appropriate
Participate in and may lead event meetings, sales meetings, and other staff meetings
Collaborate with sales and catering staff and support teams
Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Minimum 1–3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
Proficiency in general computer knowledge
Experience or training in selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills is a plus
