At Hyatt Regency Jacksonville, the Sales Manager is a fully competent individual with experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. Responsibilities
Sell guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups. Manage accounts and conduct site inspections. Solicit and generate business; prepare and present effective proposals. Maintain well-organized documentation and reports; utilize Hyatt systems; coordinate customer service requirements as appropriate. Participate in, and may lead, event meetings, sales meetings and other staff meetings. Work as a team member with the sales and catering staff and maintain close contact with the assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff. Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Refined verbal and written communication skills. A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred. Proficiency in general computer knowledge. Preference for completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training. Preference for training in selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills. Employment details
