Job Description Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and acquisition. Partners with GM to manage Team Members and possesses expert automotive system and parts knowledge. Has the ability to source from various channels including special orders, FDO, second sources, etc., and to direct drivers for timely, accurate delivery. This is a full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintain commercial customer relationships

Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers

Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives

Supervise daily activities of Team Members

Collaborate with GM on coaching and development of Team Members

Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards

Maintain commercial stock levels

Build and sustain a network of second source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

Manage core bank and commercial returns

Maintain commercial credit accounts

Partner with GM for driver coverage

Proficiency with inventory systems and store equipment

Parts and automotive system knowledge

Operating POS and parts lookup systems

ASE P2 certification or equivalent

Advanced solution and product recommendation skills

Ability to source parts from multiple channels

Advanced selling skills for commercial clients

Multi-tasking and organizational skills

Essential Job Skills

Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics (engine, suspension, brakes, electronics, exhaust, etc.)

Fluent in English; Spanish a plus; effective communication skills

Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs, and procedures

Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions

Pass the Parts Knowledge Assessment

Basic math skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong organizational skills

Understanding of commercial profitability, market, and customer prioritization

Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends

Prior Experience Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience are advantageous.

Education High school diploma or GED required.

Certificates and Licenses ASE certification preferred but not required.

Physical Demands Primarily walking and standing; ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally; ability to perform physical tasks as described.

Work Environment Mostly indoor work; occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions; exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise. Moderate noise level typical.

Position is eligible for sales commissions based on performance.

Compensation Range $21.95 - $24.15 per hour
