Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and acquisition. Partners with the GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and secondary sources. Must be able to direct drivers for timely and accurate delivery. Position is full-time. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Support day-to-day supervision of team members Collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and sustain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM for driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication Parts locating and stocking skills Safety knowledge Operating inventory and POS systems Parts and automotive system knowledge ASE P2 certification or equivalent Advanced solution and product recommendation skills Ability to source parts from multiple channels Advanced selling skills for commercial clients Multi-tasking and organizational skills Essential Job Skills
Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus) Ability to interpret safety and operational documents Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully Basic math proficiency Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability and market dynamics Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends Prior Experience
Minimum of 3 years in automotive parts sales preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience are advantageous. Education
High school diploma or GED required. Certificates and Licenses
ASE Certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands
Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must have good vision and dexterity. Work Environment
Primarily indoor work; occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise. Moderate noise level typical. Position is eligible for sales commissions based on performance. Compensation Range
