As a Survivability Staff Engineer, You Will Lead And / Or Support The Specialty Engineering Team In One Or More Of The Following Areas
Applying electrical, electronics, and physics theories to execute various tasks related to the Survivability engineering field Ensuring that missile designs, from the component level to the system level, will meet performance requirements during and after exposure to specified environments; these environments include natural space and man-made nuclear radiation Conducting technical planning, specification requirements derivation, test and analysis, design, planning and execution, documentation, and requirements /validation to support overall system needs and act as a technical consultant for management and customers Joining a Survivability Engineering group and will be partnered with other authorities. Serving in a technical lead role, both independently and with others, in executing Survivability tasks and delivering results, while maintaining collaboration with other Survivability Engineers within the FBM program. Mentoring junior engineers within Survivability Engineering
To be successful, you will typically have at least 9 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, 7 years with a Master's degree, or 4 years with a related PhD.
