With over 30 years of experience, including 15+ in Lifesciences Engineering and Compliance Consulting, Mangan is committed to customer satisfaction and growth. Our Alpharetta, GA office seeks a qualified Electrical Power Engineer focused on protection and control to support our expanding electrical power offerings. Key Experience and Skills: 4-8 years’ experience programming and configuring SEL RTACs, developing HMI interfaces, logic, and data concentrator functionality. Experience integrating electrical SCADA systems with OSI AspenTech or similar platforms. Experience with electrical power relay settings, preferably GE Multilin and SEL. Knowledge of communication protocols such as DNP3, MMS, GOOSE, and familiarity with IEC 61850 standards. Experience developing electrical construction packages: Single Line Diagrams, Three Line Diagrams, Schematics, Interconnection Diagrams, Logic Diagrams. Knowledge of NEC, NESC, and IEEE 3000 Series standards preferred. Experience with power system modeling tools like ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam completion Responsibilities: Develop settings files for SEL protection relays and RTACs. Integrate electrical SCADA data with platforms like OSI AspenTech. Perform onsite programming, testing, and commissioning of protection, control, and SCADA systems. Create comprehensive electrical construction packages. Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and system processes. Provide after-hours support as needed. Collaborate with Project Managers on deliverables, budgets, and technical progress. Assist in developing cost estimates and proposals for new projects. Travel approximately 40%, including air travel.
