Civil/Senior Site Civil Engineer
to join our growing TMT (Tech, Media and Telecom) practice. Opportunities are available in multiple locations across the US, including Omaha, Atlanta, Austin, and others. This role involves designing facility-related sites for Data Centers and Mission Critical buildings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams throughout project phases, from planning to construction administration. Experience in site development, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion control is preferred. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, collaborative, and possesses strong leadership skills to deliver high-quality civil site designs. Primary Responsibilities
Conduct early project development activities including site selection, due diligence, and site planning. Design and produce plans for civil aspects such as site layouts, grading, drainage, paving, and utilities. Perform quantity calculations and permit submissions. Evaluate complex engineering problems, exercise judgment, and provide technical expertise. Lead and supervise project teams and oversee work of professionals and technicians. Prepare scope of work, budgets, and estimates for proposals. Perform other related duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Bluebeam Revu. Experience with architectural/engineering or consulting firms. PE license and demonstrated teamwork with multidisciplinary groups. Local candidates preferred. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Experience in civil engineering and PE license. Strong leadership, communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Active participation in HDR’s inclusive culture.
