The Avionics industry is entering a new exciting age of Urban Air Mobility and Autonomous Flight. Be part of a team that will lead the way in this market by developing new compact and lightweight next‑generation traffic and airborne surveillance avionics that will be used on a wide variety of aircraft platforms, from air transport and business jets to urban air mobility (UAM) and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer within the TCAS (Traffic Alert & Conflict Avoidance System) and Transponder Product Team, you will play a critical role in creating advanced systems that meet the evolving needs of the aviation industry. Your systems‑engineering expertise will impact the successful delivery of cutting‑edge avionics solutions and contribute to the broader mission of enhancing global aviation travel, navigation and safety.

Responsibilities On our team, you will work on next‑generation and new product development projects, contributing to the advancement of aviation technology in the airborne traffic, collision avoidance & surveillance avionics space. You will oversee systems engineering across the entire life cycle.

Work across disciplines, collaborating with cross‑functional teams of Systems, Software, Hardware and Test Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions

Systems Validation & Verification

Customer Interaction

Project Oversight / Coordination

Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering practices, TCAS and airborne avionics technologies

Qualifications You must have

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

5+ years of systems engineering experience

We value

Experience in similar product domains such as avionics, navigation or airborne surveillance (TCAS, transponder, ADS‑B, DME, UAT)

Master’s degree or advanced professional certification

Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience

Experience with RF products

Experience with the FAA certification process for avionics is valuable

Experience working with aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus, Dassault

Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts

Ability to adapt to dictated project changes

Multitasking and ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and people

Making autonomous decisions
