Overview
Electrical Engineer role focused on power distribution design for industrial/manufacturing facilities, including short circuit analyses and system modeling.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical power distribution design for industrial or manufacturing facilities.
Conduct short circuit studies, load flow, voltage drop, arc flash, conduit fill, and equipment clearance calculations.
Model electrical systems using software such as SKM or ETAP; analyze combined heat and power (CHP) and energy conservation measures, including life cycle cost analysis.
Support project delivery with strong communication and organizational skills to ensure high-quality customer service.
Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to meet project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering degree (required).
4+ years of experience in electrical power distribution design (utility switchgear and distribution equipment design).
Experience with industrial or manufacturing buildings; wastewater or clean water experience is ideal, but industrial/manufacturing/pharmaceutical buildings are acceptable alternatives.
Experience with short circuit studies, load flow, voltage drop, arc flash, conduit fill, equipment clearance calculations, etc.
Experience with electrical system modeling software (e.g., SKM or ETAP) is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills; driven toward excellent customer service.
