Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Designer / Engineer to join our team. You’ll contribute to the design and analysis of commercial building projects across a wide range of sectors, including civic/government, community recreation & wellness, education, healthcare, hospitality, housing, industrial, office, and retail. We connect you with opportunities in project types you’re passionate about, introduce you to new design technologies, and support further education with our resources. We are hiring for our Madison, Janesville, and Rockford offices. Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Position Details & Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design for commercial building projects using steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood systems. Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents in compliance with IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and other applicable standards. Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients throughout all project phases. Assist with feasibility studies, and value engineering as needed. Conduct site visits and inspections to confirm existing conditions and observe construction progress. Here’s What We’re Looking For
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering. 3+ years of experience in commercial building design. Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, RISA, SAP2000, RAM, or similar). Working knowledge of Revit. Solid understanding of building codes, construction materials, and methods. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
