What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Research and identify potential school and district partners through outreach efforts

Qualify leads by understanding their needs and interests in hosting Book Fairs

Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote literacy

Manage and track sales activity and progress in the CRM system to meet goals

Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field

Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, and customer service

Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities

Outstanding relationship-building skills with peers, superiors, and customers

Familiarity with children’s literature and school activities

Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results

Demonstrated leadership qualities and noted success in previous sales roles
