About The Role: Here at Workday, our Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales Operations organization with a net-new revenue focus. They guide new customers on a journey to move from legacy platforms to a new class of enterprise management cloud. You will develop strategy, coordinate with pre-sales and other resources, and drive relationships with net-new customers. Primary Location: USA.CA.Pleasanton (Base pay ranges listed below) and other US locations may apply.
Responsibilities
Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory
Performs account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Large Enterprise prospects and share Workday value proposition
Develop relationships with net-new customers with a focus on deal management and connecting customers with Workday solutions
Negotiate deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities
Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect pipeline and forecast data
Qualifications
5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position
5+ years collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to achieve quota and manage multiple deals
5+ years experience managing longer deal cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities
Proven experience understanding strategic competitive landscape and positioning Workday solutions
Able to establish trust with key stakeholders and partner on account strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay Transparency & Benefits The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and additional locations are listed below. Pay ranges vary by location. Eligible for bonus/commission and stock grants as part of total compensation. More details during hiring process. Primary Location: USA.CA.Pleasanton. Base pay range: $146,900 USD - $179,500 USD. Additional US Locations Base Pay Range: $146,900 USD - $179,500 USD.
