Job Summary As part of the New Products Planning (NPP) Team, this is an opportunity to be a key stakeholder in driving and shaping the pipeline of the company. This role will be responsible researching, analyzing, and understanding market needs to guide the development of new products. This involves gathering and interpreting data, identifying trends, and translating those insights into actionable strategies for product development and launch. Responsibilities Gather, analyze and interpret marketplace trends and customer data to inform marketing and product development strategies Conduct analyses to determine competitive opportunities and threats from external landscape changes. Provides recommendations and insights for the brand and development teams. Track external factors (Market, Competitor & Portfolio Analysis) influencing the development of a therapy area. Conduct relevant market research to understand target market and develop market insights to support strategy planning Work closely with clinical, marketing and brand teams to add competitive intelligence through secondary data analysis Analyze and prepare forecasts and recommendations for product preferences, market penetration, market practices and sales trends. Preparing clear & concise presentations with detailed understanding of therapeutic area lifecycle elements and unmet need. Researching market conditions to contribute to early product development. Monitor market conditions, trends and competitors to project business consumer demand and plan product launch timing. Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred 6+ years work experience in Competitive Intelligence, Market Intelligence Experience in new product planning preferred Relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry across different therapy areas Experience in Dermatology Oncology, Immunology preferred Expertise in all critical aspects of competitive intelligence Capable to perform product comparison, attribute analysis and competitive developments in emerging areas. Ability to manage cross functional projects Ability to analyze complex models and scientific data and draw out key messages Understanding of FDA, ACCME, PhRMA regulations Proficiency in Microsoft office suite with strong command of excel Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task among competing priorities. Proven ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment at varying levels within the organization. The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $145,500 to $178,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program.
